(Gibson) Jimi Hendrix's much-loved Epiphone acoustic guitar will be sold at auction next month in London. The instrument was bought by the guitar great in New York when he was a struggling musician in the 1960s and he brought it with him when he moved to England.
Spinner.com reports that this was the guitar on which he wrote and arranged many songs, including a reworking of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower." The guitar is expected to sell for in excess of £150,000 ($250,000) when it sells at Bonham's of London in December.
